About
Life and relationships can be complex! I have a passion for helping those who wish to 'hang on' to what is working in their relationships while developing new skills to successfully maneuver through the challenges life can present. As a Marriage & Family Therapist, I have been trained to utilize the most effective approaches and techniques, I help address couples' issues such as; communication, infidelity, sexual intimacy, and conflict. Divorced couples and their families can encounter specific concerns of grief & loss, co-parenting, remarriage and blended families, Through the therapy process, my clients can feel respected while we work in a non-judgmental environment, collaboratively toward personal and family goals which can lead to greater satisfaction and enduring relationships.
If in your relationship, you feel that therapy may be a last resort, or are feeling stuck in high conflict or at an impasse, ask about longer or intensive couples' sessions. I have completed Level Three Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and use it in my work with couples.
I am the owner of Gateway Marriage & Family and a clinical supervisor.
Locally, I have presented on premarital preparation, couple's therapy, social media, parenting, and grief & loss. I am a past faculty associate member at Arizona State University and instructed undergraduate students at Arizona State University in Family & Human Development and Psychology courses.
