About
Dr. Cammy is a PhD, licensed practitioner with fellowship training in medical family therapy. Dr. Cammy has 10 years of experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, and families.
Dr. Cammy is trained in evidence-based approaches to healthcare and is a certified EMDR therapist. Her therapy is grounded in trauma-informed care and she creates highly individualized plans to support clients, including couples and families, in their goals as a unit and as individuals.
When working with couples, Dr. Cammy integrates Gottman Methods with EMDR and Emotionally Focused Therapy. This allows for a truly dynamic experience whereby couples can connect intellectually, emotionally, and physically in ways that have been unavailable to them.
Dr. Cammy has supported clients in healing from the trauma of grief/loss, illness, infidelity, violence, fertility issues, accidents, natural disasters, and more.
Clients describe Dr. Cammy as insightful, structured, hopeful, and good-humored.
Dr. Cammy is a nationally recognized clinical supervisor and EMDR certified therapist and consultant. She is also the author of the book "Meditations: A Guided Journal for Women" and several peer reviewed articles.
Dr. Cammy is an out-of-network provider with all insurance companies. If you are interested in determining your out-of-pocket costs to work with Dr. Cammy, please complete the Advekit profile link above for a detailed estimate.
