About

Couples come to me often feeling that the constant arguing is wearing them down, that they are at the bottom of their partner’s priority list, or that they feel more like roommates rather than lovers. Others complain of constant bickering, walking on eggshells around each other, or living like ships in the night. I also see couples for pre-marital counselling and specific problems such as sexual difficulties, infidelity, money, in-laws, addictions and parenting. In working together we will build insights into patterns that are no longer serving you, and develop actions so that we can move you from feeling stuck to thriving again.

It can feel very scary to ask for help, but there is no shame in it. We all struggle from time to time. This is particularly true for relationships where we have no manual on how to do this. You may have tried many times to make changes and nothing has worked, leaving you feeling frustrated and hopeless. We can overcome this in the safe space of couples counselling.

My clients describe me as warm, non-judgmental, fair, equal, professional and a good listener. Many couples enjoy the structured approach of the Gottman Method which also allows us to do deeper work if needed. If you are reading this, there is still hope and a part of you that wants to save your relationship and strengthen your bond.
